How does the Pro free trial work?
The trial is for first-time subscribers: an account that has never had a Pro or Max subscription or a trial. Choose Pro once you are signed in, and Stripe Checkout asks for a card; you pay nothing for 14 days. You get a reminder before it ends. If you cancel from your Billing page before then, you are not charged and your account returns to Free.
Who is Pro for?
Pro suits genetic genealogists and ancient DNA enthusiasts who model their own DNA or their family’s regularly, and researchers who prototype qpAdm and f-statistic designs before a paper.
Can I move from Pro to Max later?
Yes. Switch from your Billing page at any time; the upgrade applies straight away, and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the month at once.
Which DNA files can I upload?
Raw autosomal data from consumer tests such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FTDNA and LivingDNA, as .txt, .csv, .zip or .gz. Files are converted privately and never shared. Whole-genome BAM/CRAM uploads need Max.
