How much does Nexju cost?
The Free plan costs nothing. Pro costs $9.99 a month and Max costs $24.99 a month, tax included.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Pro comes with a 14-day free trial for first-time subscribers. You add a card in Stripe Checkout and pay nothing for 14 days; cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged.
Which currency will I pay in?
Visitors in Europe pay in euros, visitors in Australia in Australian dollars, and everyone else in US dollars. Prices include VAT, GST or sales tax. Once you subscribe, your account keeps that currency.
What is the difference between Pro and Max?
Pro adds f-statistic tables, FST, qpGraph fits and qpAdm robustness checks, and raises your run allowance and DNA file limit. Max adds the largest allowance, PCA, PANE, DATES and qpGraph search and comparison, MCP access for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and whole-genome BAM/CRAM uploads by link.
What can I do on the Free plan?
Fit single qpAdm models, test rank with qpWave, and run f3, f4 and D statistics on the Allen Ancient DNA Resource and your own DNA, with run history and share images. Pro adds f-statistic tables, FST, qpGraph and robustness checks.
Why are PCA, DATES and qpGraph search only on Max?
They use far more computing than the other analyses. A PCA takes several minutes of processor time where a qpAdm fit takes under a second, and qpGraph search and comparison and DATES take tens of times longer than a fit. Keeping them on Max keeps every plan’s runs fast.
How does the run allowance work?
Each analysis uses part of two rolling allowances: the last five hours and the last seven days. A run that includes your own DNA uses more than one on reference genomes alone, and failed or cancelled runs give their share back.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time from your Billing page. An upgrade applies straight away, and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period at once; a downgrade or cancellation applies at the end of the period you already paid for.
Who handles payments, receipts and invoices?
Stripe processes payments and acts as the seller of record, so receipts and invoices, with your local tax, come from Stripe. Purchases show as “Sold through Link”.
